3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases under applicable data protection law:

  • Consent: where you have agreed to processing for specific purposes, such as marketing communications or optional browser storage.
  • Contractual necessity: where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take pre-contractual steps at your request.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website. Any licensing of customer datasets is governed by a separate agreement. We may share information with the following categories of third parties:

4.1 Service Providers

We engage third parties to help deliver our Services, including hosting, security, communications, customer relationship management, recruiting, and professional service providers. They may process information as needed to provide their services to us.

4.2 Website and Inquiry Services

  • Hosting and security: providers that host this website and help keep it available and secure.
  • Inquiry handling: tools that store valuation and catalog requests so our team can respond.
  • Recruiting providers: process job applications when you follow an application link. Their sites have their own privacy notices.

Optional campaign measurement uses browser storage after you agree. Optional website performance measurement requires a separate consent choice. You can manage both choices through Cookie settings in the footer.

4.3 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for the following purposes:

  • Necessary functionality: remembering your privacy choice, protecting forms from abuse, and recovering a valuation request if submission fails.
  • Optional campaign measurement: remembering campaign details and your landing page and including them with a valuation request. This is off until you agree.
  • Optional website performance: allowing optional analytics to measure page loading, responsiveness, and layout stability. This is off until you agree.

Your consent preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Optional campaign information is stored for the browser session. A pending valuation request may be kept in session storage to allow a retry; saved requests older than 24 hours are discarded when read.

You can accept or reject optional storage in the consent banner and change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal by keeping optional campaign and website performance measurement off. You can also clear or restrict cookies and storage through your browser settings, although this may affect some website features.

Savero is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including responding to inquiries, providing services, maintaining business records, and complying with legal obligations. Retention also depends on the applicable service agreement and whether information is needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Browser storage periods are described in Section 5.
